We offer a full size four seater carriage, which has hoods that can be open or closed in case of inclement weather. The carriage is pulled by full size, and beautifully groomed horses, accompanied by two of our highly professional staff in elegant costume.

All our wedding turnouts are prepared to a very high standard for your very special occasion.

Due to distance and travelling we look forward and would welcome enquiries for weddings being held in London and the Home Counties.

The Ostler Carriage Company Ltd is a family run business based on a 250 acre farm in South East Essex.

The countryside and tradition are integral to everything that we believe in and all of our horses are traditional heavy horses which are trained by ourselves on the farm.

Our family has been in this industry since 1947 and has trained and provided horses and/or coachmen for Events, Film and Promotions work such as The Lord Mayors Show, Blue Peter, Eastenders and BBC documentaries to name but a few.

We pride ourselves on providing a top quality service and all of our Coachmen are qualified and certificated by ‘The British Horse Society’ and ‘The Draught Horse Training Committee’.
